Amuse-Bouche


Amuse-Bouche is a French word for appetizer, more specifically bite size appetizers.
In restaurants, amuse-bouches are used by Chefs to introduce a savory bite-sized culinary idea to the guests just after the order has been taken, or in-between courses, free of charge. Normally it is supposed to introduce the meal taste to your mouth.
At home, it is simply offered as a savory bite-sized appetizer.

The litteral translation from French is mouth amuser, isn't that cute and appealing for a bite size appetizer?! To sum up it is a bite sized appetizer created to please your mouth.
